Tusshar to play double role in a comedy; film also stars Minissha Lamba
| By Bollywood Hungama News Network After playing the mute guy successfully in Golmaal and Golmaal Returns, Tusshar Kapoor is all set to play a double role for the first time in his career. The film in question is a comedy and will be directed by Sagar Ballary (of Bheja Fry fame). Bollywood Hungama got in touch with Tusshar who seemed all excited at signing a new film after a while. "Yes it's been a while since I came across a script that was extremely interesting. This project with Sagar Ballary kicked off when the writer Alok Mathur spoke to me about it sometime in April. After the initial script reading sessions, I was very happy with the script and my character and gave a green signal. The project is special as I will be playing a double role (twins) for the first time in my career." The as-yet-untitled film will star 3 leading ladies out of which Minissha Lamba has been finalized while the search for the other 2 ladies continues. The film is produced by Smita Thackeray while the story, screenplay and dialogues have been written by Alok Mathur. Tusshar is gung-ho about working with Sagar Ballary, "I remember seeing Bheja Fry SDFS (Second Day First Show) and completely loved the film. Sagar is a bright, young director full of new and innovative ideas and I can't wait to start work with him." The film is set to go on floors on August 17 and will be shot mainly in Mumbai and Goa.
