YRF to enter television production
| By Bollywood Hungama News Network Films have always been dominated by the mega production house Yash Raj Films over the past few decades. Now however, the small screen has emerged as a sure shot crowd puller with a multitude of soaps releasing. YRF has now decided to enter into TV fictional and non-fictional content production with an agreement with Sony TV. "Yash Raj Films is working on several TV show formats all of which are currently in various stages of production. We will be making a detailed announcement of the shows and related information at the appropriate time. In the meanwhile, we are happy to endorse our exclusive content deal with SONY Entertainment Television (Multi Screen Media Private Limited) and we look forward to a mutually beneficial association," says Rafiq Gangjee, Vice President-Marketing and Communications.
